PETS IN THE PARK OPENS IN HOBART

Since its launch in Sydney in 2012, Pets in the Park (PITP) has grown quickly and now holds monthly clinics in Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Hobart, and has plans to launch clinics in Adelaide and Perth in the near future.

All clinics are run by volunteer veterinarians, veterinary nurses and lay staff and provide free veterinary care (including microchipping, vaccination, flea and worm treatment, desexing and basic medication) to companion animals owned by those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

In 2017, PITP helped over 1,000 dogs and cats across Australia!!

Dr Mark Westman, the founder of PITP declared: "Without our corporate supporters like Microchips Australia, PITP simply would not be able to continue the vital community service that it provides.”
